Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) has announced the UPTAC 2026 Round 3 seat allotment result. Candidates who participated in the third round of the Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission Counselling (UPTAC) can now check their allotment status by logging in to the official counselling portal using their application credentials.

The Round 3 seat allotment has been released on July 31. Candidates who have been allotted a seat in Round 3 must log in to the UPTAC candidate portal and download their provisional seat allotment letter. After checking the allotted institute and programme, they will have to choose either the Freeze or Float option by Aug 1, 2026. This deadline is likely to be extended.

Candidates satisfied with their allotted seat can select the Freeze option to confirm their admission, while those seeking a better preference in round 3 counselling can choose the Float option.

UPTAC Seat Acceptance Fee

Along with exercising the Freeze or Float option, candidates must complete the required online admission formalities, including payment of the seat acceptance fee, if applicable. Failure to complete these steps within the stipulated time may result in cancellation of the allotted seat.
