Vellore Institute of Technology conducted VIT exam 2026 from April 28 to May 3. The computer-based test was held across 130 cities in India and 9 countries abroad. Now that exam is over, VIT Vellore is all set to start announce VITEEE result 2026. The exam result will be uploaded on official website in rank card format.

As per the official update, the result of VITEEE 2026 is expected to be released in the second week of May 2026 (mostly by May 7 to 10). Students who have attempted the test can check their result. Qualifying candidates will be eligible for VIT 2026 phase-wise counselling. Top 500-rankers in VITEEE will be offered scholarships as tuition fee waiver.

No, the students will not be guaranteed admissions if they meet the VITEEE cutoff. However, they will have higher chances of admission if the cutoff is met. Since other factors will also be considered for admission, the students can check the cutoff for their admission chances.
The VITEEE counselling fee is INR 5,900 (inclusive of GST). During the counselling registration, the students will have to pay the counselling fee online, i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card/UPI. If the fee is not paid, then the students cannot participate in the counselling process.
