West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) is expected to start WBJEE counselling 2026 soon. Earlier at the press conference, WBJEEB authorities declared that the WBJEE 2026 counselling will start by June 29. However, official WBJEE counselling dates 2026 are yet to be announced. All qualified candidates will have to register for the counselling process for admissions into the participating institutes.

WBJEE 2026 Counselling: Who is Eligible?

Candidates who meet the following criteria will be eligible for WBJEE counselling 2026.

• Should have a valid WBJEE 2026 rank. JEE Main qualified candidates are also eligible for 10% approved seats in self financing institutes.

• Candidates should have secured minimum 45% marks in 12th standard qualifying exam as an aggregate of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. For SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/PwD candidates, minimum aggregate marks is 40%.

• Atleast 30% marks should be secured in English.
