West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board will soon conduct WBJEE decentralised counselling 2026 online for admissions into vacant seats offered by participating institutes. While the official revised notification has been released at wbjeeb.nic.in/wbjee, the authorities have not yet announced WBJEE 2026 decentralised counselling dates. Two phases of decentralised counselling will be held and each phase will have two allocation rounds. Candidates who have already participated in centralized WBJEE counselling do not have to register and can login to fill out their choices.

WBJEE 2026 Decentralised Counselling: What is the Eligibility Criteria?

Candidates are advised to be familiar with the eligibility criteria for WBJEE decentralised counselling 2026 before registrations start.

• Those who have been previously allotted in centralised WBJEE counselling and have confirmed their admission will also be eligible for decentralised process. Only after their new allotment will their previous seat be cancelled.
• WBJEE Rank holders domiciled in West Bengal will be eligible for admission into reserved category seats offered by Government/Private colleges.
• West Bengal domiciled candidates with WBJEE ranks will be eligible for Government colleges.
• WBJEE rank holders not domiciled in West Bengal will be eligible for State and Private colleges.
• JEE Main rank holders and 12th standard qualifying marks will be accepted for applicable colleges and courses.

Documents to Keep Ready for WBJEE 2026 Decentralised Counselling

Before decentralised counselling, candidates are advised to keep following documents ready:

• 10th admit card/birth certificate for verification of date of birth
• 10th Marksheet
• 12th Marksheet
• Domicile Certificate (if applicable)
• Category Certificate (if applicable)
• PwD certificate (if applicable)
• Income certificate (if applicable)
