When will the KCET 2025 Counselling be held: Check expected dates, option entry, fees, and more

The KCET 2025 counselling is expected to start soon, by the first or second week of July 2025. The expected KCET 2025 counselling start date is yet to be confirmed by the authorities. The facility to edit the application form to download the correct KCET verification slip is July 4. Read below for more. 

The Karnataka Examinations Authority will soon announce the KEA KCET counselling 2025 dates. Candidates willing to participate in the counselling must cross-check and edit the details (if discrepancies are available) and download the KCET 2025 verification slip for certificate verification, option entry and for other activities related to KCET counselling 2025. The last date to edit the KCET 2025 application form was July 4. 

With KCET counselling dates approaching, candidates are advised to keep all their documents and certificates ready (xerox and original) to avoid the last-minute hassle. The KEA will release the dates of the first, second and third phases of counselling, along with the link to access the KCET 2025 option entry facility.

When will the KEA KCET 2025 Counselling take place?

The KCET counselling will begin after the release of the KCET 2025 final seat matrix and fee structure (based on last year’s pattern). The confirmed dates are still unknown.

Why does KEA conduct Mock Allotment before counselling?

KEA conducts the KCET mock allotment rounds for candidates to get an indicative allotment of college/course/stream based on his/her priority as submitted. This gives a clear idea to the candidate to change or retain the entered options. Also, the candidate will get to know what other candidates with low merit are allotted a seat that he/she was eligible for but did not opt for. Thus, candidates will be given one more chance to make changes (reordering or addition) to the priority.
