CBSE Board Exam 2026 Admit Card

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will release the admit cards for Class 10 and Class 12 board exams soon on its official website, cbse.gov.in. Once the admit cards are released, schools will be able to download them from the official CBSE website.

Regular students cannot download their CBSE board exam 2026 admit card themselves. School authorities have to download their admit cards from the CBSE portal using their school login credentials. Later, the CBSE 2026 hall ticket for class 10 and 12 will be distributed to the students at their respective schools. Whereas private students can download CBSE class 10 admit card 2026 and CBSE class 12 admit card 2026 from CBSE official website.

CBSE Board Exam 2026: Expected Admit Card Release Date

CBSE is yet to announce the CBSE admit card release date 2026 for class 10 and 12 board exam 2026. However, as per past trends, it is expected that the CBSE board exam 2026 admit card for class 10 and 12 will tentatively be released during the last week of January or first week of February 2026.

CBSE Board Exam Date 2026 Announced

CBSE has announced the class 10 and 12 board exam dates. According to the official CBSE schedule, the CBSE Class 12 board exams 2026 will begin on February 17, 2026, and will continue till April 9, 2026. The CBSE Class 10 board exam 2026 will also begin on February 17, 2026, and conclude on March 10, 2026.

Q:   What if I forget my CBSE 12th admit card 2026 on exam day?
A:

Students are required to carry their CBSE Class 12 admit card on all days of the examination. They will not be allowed inside the exam hall, if they fail to produce the same. Hence they should immediately inform parents to bring the admit card to school. Note that CBSE 12th admit card is an important document. Students need to carry it on the exam days. 

Q:   Are students' and parents' signatures mandatory on the CBSE 10th admit cards?
A:

Yes, CBSE requires signatures of school principal, student and any one parent on the CBSE Class 10 admit card before handing it over to the student. This document is very important and need to be carried on all exam days failing which students will not be allowed to write any exam. 

Q:   I am in CBSE class 10 and do not have 75% attendance, will I get CBSE 10th admit card or not?
A:

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) states that there be a minimum of 75% attendance. In case students do not meet this requirement, CBSE has all the right to not issue them the admit card. In turn, they will be barred from writing their board examinations. 

Thus, it is advisable to maintain a minimum of 75% attendance in Class 10.
