O.P. Jindal Global University (JGU) signed Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with Lucy Cavendish College and Murray Edwards College at the University of Cambridge to strengthen global academic ties.
These partnerships align with JGU’s mission to promote international engagement, diversity, and inclusive education, mirroring the values of the two Cambridge colleges known for empowering underrepresented communities.
As part of the initial phase of this partnership, JGU will launch two Short-Term Study Abroad Programmes (STSAPs) at the University of Cambridge, enabling nearly 100 JGU students to engage in immersive learning experiences under the guidance of some of the world’s most distinguished scholars. The programmes are: Commercial Laws and Corporate Governance – Hosted by Lucy Cavendish College, this programme will provide students with in-depth insights into the legal frameworks governing global commerce and corporate governance, equipping them with the knowledge to navigate complex business environments.
The Era of FinTech: Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence, and Digital Inclusion – Hosted by Murray Edwards College, this programme will explore cutting-edge developments in financial technology, including blockchain, artificial intelligence, and strategies for promoting digital inclusion in an increasingly interconnected world.
These programmes are designed to foster interdisciplinary learning, blending law, business, finance, and technology to prepare students for the challenges of a rapidly evolving global landscape. Beyond academics, the initiatives aim to promote cultural and intellectual exchange, enabling students to develop critical thinking, global perspectives, and leadership skills in one of the world’s most inspiring academic environments.
Professor (Dr.) C. Raj Kumar, JGU’s Founding Vice Chancellor, emphasized the partnerships’ role in fostering global citizenship and educational innovation. Leaders from both Cambridge colleges expressed enthusiasm for hosting JGU students, highlighting the collaboration’s potential to create transformative educational experiences.

OP Jindal Global University (JGU) has an Office of Career Services (OCS) that helps students to gain knowledge about prospective careers in Advertising, Design, Journalism, Publishing, Corporate communications, Non-Government Organisations, Corporate Sector, Performing Arts, Public Relations and more.
