MAH BCA CET 2026: Aadhar and APAAR Mandatory for Applicants
Maharashtra State CET Cell has notified that Aadhaar authentication and APAAR ID generation are required for all candidates registering for MAH BCA CET 2026 and other professional courses under Technical and Higher Education for the 2026-27 academic year. PwD candidates must also submit UDID.
Mandatory Aadhar Information
Ensure your Aadhaar card details are accurate and up to date, and exactly match your official school certificates. Please verify:
- Your name
- Date of birth (as per your Class 10 certificate)
- Address
- Father’s name
- Recent photograph
- The mobile number linked to the Aadhaar must be current and active for communication.
APAAR ID
Every applicant is now required to have an APAAR ID (Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry).
- What it is: A unique 12-digit number that acts as a digital locker for your mark sheets and degrees.
- How to get it: You can generate your APAAR ID through your current school or college, or directly on the Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) portal.
Mandatory Updates for PwD Candidates
Candidates with disabilities (PwD) must provide a Unique Disability ID (UDID) card or a mandatory disability certificate at the time of registration.
Scribe Details (for PwD candidates in case of eligible disabilities)
PwD candidates who are eligible to opt for scribes must submit details of 2 scribes while applying. They must provide the following details:
- Name
- Aadhar
- Recent Photo
- Bonafide certificate issued by the institute
- Highest qualification certificate
Next Steps for Students
- Check Aadhaar: Verify that your mobile number is linked to your Aadhaar for OTP verification.
- Get APAAR: Register for your APAAR ID immediately via DigiLocker to avoid registration delays.
- Monitor Official Site: Registration is expected to begin in late December 2025 or early January 2026. Keep checking the official State CET Cell portal.
At the MAH BCA CET exam centre, the candidates will have to bring one original valid identity proof along with the hall ticket. If the documents are not presented, then the candidates will not be allowed to enter and attempt the entrance examination. The list of acceptable identity proofs are:
- Aadhaar Card
- Voter ID
- Passport
- PAN Card
- School ID
- Any Govt. approved ID card
MAH BCA CET exam centre details will be available on the admit card. Candidates can check the information about the allotted exam centre address, date, timings, and more in the MAH BCA CET admit card. Candidates must verify their centre and its address carefully.
