CAT 2020 admit card are available for download from today (October 28), 5 PM. CAT exam is scheduled for November 29. It will be conducted according to the COVID-19 protocol put in place for entrance exams. IIM Indore, CAT conducting body for this year, is monitoring the situation and the making efforts to conduct the exam with health and safety guidelines for COVID-19 in place.

CAT 2020 notification was released on July 29 and the registration process began on August 5. The last date of CAT 2020 registration was September 23. CAT exam will be held at multiple exam centres in 156 cities across India. A total of 425 test centres have been selected for CAT 2020 across India. COVID-19 protocols will be followed at all the CAT exam centres to ensure safety of the candidates. Sanitation, physical distancing, staggard entry, temperature check, use of facemask and hand sanitizers will be followed at each CAT test centre. 

How to Download CAT 2020 Admit Card

CAT admit card is a mandatory document to be carried to the exam centre. It will be available for download till the CAT exam day. Check the steps below for downloading the CAT 2020 admit card: 

  • Visit the official CAT 2020 website or click here
  • Click on 'Login' 
  • Enter registration ID and password
  • The admit card window will open
  • Click on download and save on desktop
  • Take a print out your CAT 2020 admit card

CAT Exam Day Guidelines

On the CAT exam day (November 29), the candidates will have to follow certain guidelines for smooth passage of the exam. Listed below are some important guidelines they must keep in mind for CAT 2020.

  • CAT 2020 will be held in three slots The first slot will be held from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM, the second slot will be conducted from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM and the third slot will be conducted from 4:30 PM to 6: 30 PM.
  • The candidates have to report to their respective exam centres by 7:30 AM for Slot 1, byc10 PM for Slot 2 and by 3 PM for Slot 3.
  • The candidates can appear only in the slot mentioned on their admit card and at the exam centre to allotted to them. They cannot take the test at any other CAT exam centre.
  • The candidates are required to carry colour print out of their CAT admit card and one of the following ID proofs in original:
  1. Aadhar card
  2. Voter ID
  3. Passport
  4. College/University ID
  5. Driver's license
  • No electronic item, including mobile phone, calculator or digital watch will be allowed inside the exam hall.
  • Candidates wearing jacket with hood and /or pocket, closed shoes, jewellery, metal accessories will not allowed inside the exam hall.
  • Candidates with metal implants and pacemaker will have to submit a medical certificate at the CAT test centre.
