CAT 2021 Dates & notification is expected to be released by IIM Ahmedabad anytime today. The CAT 2021 registration process is expected to begin next week. The CAT 2021 exam will be held on November 28 as per the expected schedule. The CAT exam will be conducted by IIM Ahmedabad this year for all IIMs.
CAT exam will be conducted at over 400 exam centres in 156 test cities with COVID-19 regulations. No change in the CAT exam pattern is expected this year. Graduate or final year graduation students can apply for CAT 2021 if they have scored 50 per cent minimum aggregate (45 per cent for Reserved category candidates).
CAT 2021 application forms will be available on iimcat.ac.in website once the website is live. The candidates can apply for CAT in online mode only. The CAT application fee is Rs 2,000 for General category candidates and Rs 1,000 for Reserved category candidates.

CAT 2021 Application Process
Once the CAT registration process begins, the candidates fill the CAT application form by following the due process. Given below are the steps of CAT application process:
- Log on to iimcat.ac.in website and click on ‘new registration’
- Enter name, nationality, phone number, email ID and date of birth
- Click on submit to generate OTP
- Authenticate your account with OTP received on phone
- Log in with the user ID and password received in email
- Enter personal details, academic details, preferred test cities and preferred IIIMs
- Upload scanned photograph, signature, caste and other certificates (if required)
- Pay CAT application fee via debit/credit card, net banking or mobile wallet
