CAT 2024 notification was released today by IIM Calcutta, the exam convening institute for this year. The CAT notification 2024 released at iimcat.ac.in website contains all the details related to the exam such as dates, fees, pattern, eligibility criteria, application fees, courses, list of participating colleges, etc.
CAT 2024 registration will begin from August 1, 2024. The CAT application form 2024 will be released at the official website: iimcat.ac.in. CAT 2024 registration will include creating a login account application form filling, uploading documents and payment of fee. The CAT exam fee has been increased this year as well. For CAT 2024, General candidates will have to pay INR 2,400 as CAT fees and SC/ST/PwD candidates will have to pay INR 1,200.

To apply for CAT 2024 exam, candidates need to log on to iimcat.ac.in website. Check below steps for CAT registration and application 2024:

- Click on ‘new registration’
- Enter name, date of birth, nationality, phone number and email ID
- Click on 'Generate OTP' option
- An OTP will be sent on the registered mobile number
- Verify CAT registration by using the OTP

- Upload photo and signature

CAT application process 2024 began on August 1, 2024 at the iimcat.ac.in website. The registration process ends on September 20, 2024.
The schedule of CAT 2024 registration cum application was announced on July 28, 2024 at the iimcat.ac.in website. The notification for CAT 2024 was released at the IIMCAT websites and in all national newspapers. The last date to submit CAT application form 2024 was September 13, 2024 but was later extended to September 20, 2024.
Yes, candidates can fill out the CAT application form on one day and pay the fee on another day, as it is not mandatory to register for the CAT exam, fill out the application form, or pay the fee in one go. The registration and application window will remain open for candidates who have registered for the exam and created an ID until the last date of form submission. The applicant can log in and check/fill/edit the CAT application form anytime during the form-filling period. Only the phone number and email ID will not be editable once registration is complete. However, candidates need to submit the CAT form and application fee before the deadline to be eligible to appear for the exam. The CAT application form will not be submitted until the fee payment is completed. The fee can be paid via debit card, credit card, net banking, and UPI wallet.
