To calculate CAT 2025 score candidates can check the number of correct answer and incorrect answers. For every correct answer, they have to add 3 marks. For every incorrect answer they have to subtract 1 mark. If your TITA attempt is incorrect, mark it 0. The sum total will be your CAT score

In 2024, 2.93 candidates appeared for the exam, where in 2025, 2.58 candidates appeared. This year, IIMCAT recorded a dip in registration.

CAT 2025 result date has not been announced. Since the answer key has been released today, the result can be expected by December 19, 2025. 

CAT response sheet 2025 will have candidate’s name, exam slot, exam timing, exam centre, question wise answer options, correct answer, status of answer correct/incorrect/unanswered.

CAT 2025 answer key objection window will open on December 8 and close on December 10. Candidates can raise objection in this window only.

Candidates have to follow the below process to raise objection:

• Login to iimcat.ac.in
• Click on ‘objection management’
• Select question IDs
• Upload supporting document
• Pay fee per question

The CAT 2025 answer key objection window will open on December 8 and close on December 10, 2025. 

The fee per objection is INR 1200. Objections raised without fee payment will not be accepted.

The CAT percentile is calculated from scaled score of the candidate. The result is prepared in percentile and all MBA colleges select candidates basis percentile.

CAT 2025 answer key download last date is December 10, 2025, same as last date for objection form submission.

The criteria to raise objection against the CAT 2025 answer key is only 1 –surety of the fact that official answer key is incorrect. If a candidate has any doubt on the official answer key, they can raise objection.

CAT cut offs for 2026 batch admission are expected to rise as the examination was easier than previous year. However, the rise will not be drastic but in decimals.

CAT marking scheme is as follows:

• Minus 1 mark for every incorrect answer
• 0 for unanswered questions
• 0 for incorrect TITA

CAT 2025 question papers of all three slots - 1, 2 and 3 were moderate. Slot 2 was slightly tougher than Slot 1 and Slot 3. Compared to last year, this year, CAT was easy.

CAT 2025 exam was held on November 30 and 2.58 lakh candidates appeared for the exam out of 2.95 lakh registered candidates. The overall attendance was 86 %.
