CMAT 2026 registration has started from today. The NTA has released the exam notification. Candidates can register for the CMAT 2026 from October 17 to November 18, 2025. The exam date will be announced later.

CMAT is a pan India test, conducted for admission to over 1300 MBA college in India. The score is accepted by all AICTE approved colleges. Candidates having graduation degree or those in final year of graduation can appear for the exam.

The CMAT 2026 syllabus includes important chapters from e Quantitative Technique and Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, General Awareness and Innovation & Entrepreneurship. The CMAT exam pattern is same as previous year.

How to Apply for CMAT 2026?

The CMAT 2026 application form is available at the CMAT-NTA website. Check below how to apply:

  • Go to CMAT 2026 website: cmat.nta.nic.in
  • Click on Registration for CMAT 2026
  • Click on New registration
  • Follow the instructions to register
  • Once registered, login to fill the CMAT form
  • Fill in personal and academic details
  • Select test cities and upload passport size photo/signature
  • Pay the CMAT fee and complete the process
Q:   Which documents are needed for CMAT application form filling?
A:
The CMAT registration and form filling process is incomplete without submission of certain documents. Candidates need the following documents to fill the CMAT application form. While photo, signature and Certificate are to be uploaded with the form, other documents are required for making entries in it. 1. Recent passport size photo (colour with white background) 2. Scanned signature on a white paper 3. Scanned copy of photo ID card such as Aadhaar card, PAN card, Voter ID card, Passport 4. Class 10 marksheet 5. Class 12 marksheet 6. Graduation marksheet 7. PG degree marksheet (if applicable) 8. Bank details Candidates belonging to Reserved category are required to upload caste Certificate and candidates belonging to PwD category have to upload a Certificate for the same. They also need to upload scribe Certificate to avail the facility on the exam day. These Certificate formats can be downloaded from CMAT website.
Q:   How can I select test cities in CMAT application form for centre allotment?
A:
CMAT test city selection is to be done at the time of application form filling. In the CMAT registration cum application form, there will be field to mark selected cities for test centre allotment. Applicants are given the option to choose four cities from the list of 124 where they want to take the CMAT exam. Given below is the process to follow for selecting CMAT test cities in the application form: 1. Go to the official website of NTA-CMAT 2. Log on with registration ID and password to fill the CMAT application form 3. Fill relevant details in the fields marked for information and move to the test city section 4. Select four cities from the list in order of preference from one to four 5. Make fee payment and submit the CMAT application form.
Q:   Can I edit the CMAT application form after submission?
A:
Once you have submitted the CMAT application form, you cannot edit it. Thus, you will have to fill the CMAT form again by creating a new login ID and paying the fee again. However, if the mistake is in photo, signature or test centre fields, you can correct it at the time of form correction. The CMAT form correction window will be opened for three days after the conclusion of application form submission process. During the form correction period, candidates will be able to edit photo, signature, test city and graduation score fields. Given below is the process to make changes in the CMAT form at the time of form correction: 1. Log on to NTA-CMAT website 2. Click on form correction tab 3. Enter application number and password/DoB 4. Enter security pin and click on submit 5. Go to application form and make changes 6. Click on save and submit the form.
