Online extempore and PI round for IIFT admission 2021-23 will be conducted from April 19 onwards. Check the schedule and important instructions regarding the online process.

IIFT PI round

The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) has announced the schedule of online Extempore and Personal Interview (PI) round for admission to the MBA International Business 2021 batch. The online extempore and PI will be conducted from April 19 to May 4 from 10 AM to 3 PM. About 2,704 candidates have been shortlisted for online extempore and PI for IIFT admission 2021. Like last year, this year too, the second phase of IIFT selection round is being conducted online due to COVID-19 pandemic. The online extempore and PI will be conducted in batches of over 250 students on each scheduled date and every candidate has been allotted 20 minutes for the round.

The online extempore and PI schedule released by IIFT Delhi includes every candidate’s name, their IIFT application number, date and time of extempore/PI.

IIFT Admission 2021 Online Extempore and PI: Important Instructions

The institute has also shared some important instructions related to the online extempore and PI for students to follow. Check the important guidelines below.

All candidates should download MS Team app on their laptop / desktop for online extempore and PI.

  • A link to join on MS Team for extempore and PI will be sent to the candidate's registered email id.
  • The candidate will be required to join by clicking on the link on the designated date and time of the extempore / interview.
  • Candidates will be required to join the session at least 10 minutes prior to the scheduled time.
  • Candidates must appear for extempore and PI through either a desktop or laptop with camera / web-cam installed on/in it. Candidates are not allowed use a mobile phone to participate in the process.
  • The audio / video of must be on desktop or laptop for the entire duration of extempore and PI
  • No person other than the candidate should be present in the interview room.
  • Candidates must ensure a stable and high speed internet connection, preferably a LAN, so that they are clearly, fully visible (either seated or standing), from a distance of at least five feet.
  • They must sit or stand against a white background or a clear background of a lighter colour ensuring better visibility.
  • They must keep a valid photo ID proof for verification, such as Aadhar Card/Voter ID/Passport/Driver's License with them during the process.
