KEA is conducting Karnataka PGCET 2022 on November 19 and 20. The famous groundnut fair, Kadalekai Parishe, might bring in dense traffic in major parts of Bengaluru around these dates.
Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released an advisory for the test-takers to reach the Karnataka PGCET exam centre two hours before the exam time. This comes in as the famous groundnut fair, Kadalekai Parishe, is around the corner. Kadalekai Parishe is a much-awaited annual groundnut fair held in Bangalore. The fair is held for two days near the Dodda Ganesha Temple in Basavanagudi. People across districts visit the fair to celebrate and offer the annual harvest to Lord Basava.
Although the fair is held from November 21 to 23, the Basavanagudi region will face heavy traffic jams due to the early celebrations. Candidates with their Karnataka PGCET exam centre in Bengaluru or around Basavanagudi region must take the dense traffic into account while calculating the travel time.
