
KEA is set to close Karnataka PGCET choice filling window tomorrow, Nov 19. Candidates accepting the PGCET allotment have to pay the admission fee on or before November 20.
Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) will close the PGCET choice filling window tomorrow, November 19. All candidates allotted a seat can accept or reject the same using the choice filling window. Candidates accepting the Karnataka PGCET seat allotted through the first counselling round are required to pay the admission fee on or before November 20.
Last date to report at the allotted college is set as November 21.
Karnataka PGCET Choice Filling Process
Karnataka PGCET choice-filling process includes candidates to choose one of four choices provided to them after allotment. Four choices at the time of choice filling process indicates the following:
Choice 1: Candidates are satisfied and do not wish to participate in the subsequent rounds of the allotment process.
Choice 2: Candidates are satisfied with the allotment but still wish to be considered for a better option through subsequent counselling rounds.
Choice 3: Candidates are not satisfied with the allotment and wish to participate in the subsequent round for a better allotment as per their preferences.
Choice 4: Candidates are unsatisfied with the allotment and wish to quit any subsequent PGCET allotment rounds.

Candidates who go for choice 1 or choice 2 will have to pay the admission fee before the specified date. All candidates choosing the first choice will have to report at the allotted college with all the required documents in original as mentioned in their verification slip.
Candidates selecting the second, third, or fourth choice need not report at the allotted college.

Note that the challan copy is a proof of the candidateβs candidature in Karnataka PGCET, hence it is an important document to retain. If the challan copy is lost, candidates must ensure that they have the challan number with them or anything that would be helpful in proving the candidature. Candidates can login to their candidate portal of Karnataka PGCET and check if the challan copy is a available for download.
The last resort is to contact the administration to inform them about the same. KEA will be able to provide the required resolution for the issue.
