AIMA has announced the MAT exam date for Paper Based Test (PBT) mode. The exam is scheduled for September 20 and registration process has begun. Read details.
MAT 2020 exam will be conducted in for Paper Based Test (PBT) mode on September 20. The All India Management Association has announced conduct of MAT exam in PBT mode once again after February. However, the exam will be conducted depending on the Government guidelines and COVID-19 situation at that time. If the MAT PBT is cancelled at any or all the centers, candidate's registration will be carried forward to forthcoming MAT December 2020 or later.
Registration process for MAT PBT September 2020 has started from today and the last date to apply is September 15. Meanwhile, the registration process for August 27-September 20 IBT exams is also underway. MAT registrations for IBT exam will conclude on September 16. Also Read: MAT 2020 Application Process

In the wake of COVID-19 pandemic, AIMA had cancelled PBT and CBT mode exams for May and introduced remotely proctored Internet Based Test (IBT).

There is no difference in PBT, CBT and IBT exams except that in IBT mode, the candidates can take the test from home. The first round of IBT exam was held from May 25 to July 5 and the second round will be conducted from August 27 to September 2.
Since, IBT is a preferred mode of exam for students in the given situation, it remains to be seen how many students apply for MAT PBT as they will have to visit the exam centre to take the test.
