NMAT 2020 Application Procedure

Visit the official website for NMAT 2020 registration

Click on the ‘Register Now’ link hovering on the homepage if you are a first-time applicant

The registration window will open. Fill in basic details such as name, phone number, email ID and click on 'Register' button.

After registration, candidates will receive their user ID and password in the registered email ID and phone number

Log in the newly created candidate account using the user ID and password and fill in academic details, personal details and work experience, etc in the NMAT application form

Select up to five B-schools as your preference where NMAT by GMAC can send scores for selection process using 'School Preference' section

Upload scanned copy of passport size photograph. The photo should resemble with the photograph of the Photo ID proof that you will carry on the exam day.

Pay the NMAT registration fee using any of the options – Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, American Express, Diners Club, MasterCard, VISA, and Mobile Wallets

NMAT 2020 will be conducted in 52 test centres across 62 cities in India and four international centres. Candidates can either opt for taking the test from a designated NMAT 2020 test centre, or from their homes in an online remote proctored mode.
NMAT 2020 is a computer-based exam and has three sections – Language Skills, Quantitative Skills and Logical Reasoning. This year, the NMAT exam pattern has been revised by reducing the total number of questions from 120 to 108. Commenting on the same, Bina Sharma, Director, Product Management, GMAC said, “This year, the exam has been restructured with equal weightage across the Language, Quantitative and Logical Reasoning Sections with 36 questions in each section. The total number of questions have been reduced by 10 per cent. Candidates can also preview scores instantly and avail of retake attempts to improve their score.”
Apart from over 100 B-schools in India, NMAT 2020 scores will be accepted by B-schools in Philippines, South Africa and Nigeria as well.
