Anna University conducted TANCET 2021 on March 20 in an offline mode. Test takers were able to check the TANCET results starting from April 1. After the result declaration, Anna University released the TANCET scorecard on April 8, which was downloadable until April 22. Since then TN MBA aspirants have been waiting for an update on TANCET counselling.
However, major tamilian news channels have stated that the TN MBA admission registration shall start on August 11. If reports are to be found true, key highlights of the TANCET 2021 counselling are as follows
- TANCET MBA counselling registration shall start from August 11
- TANCET 2021 counselling registration shall end on August 31
- Candidates will be able to complete the TANCET counselling registration online at gct.ac.in
- The counselling process for admission based on TANCET 2021 shall be held online
TANCET Counselling Schedule
Typically, the TANCET counselling process starts within a few days or weeks after the release of TANCET 2021 scorecards. Due to a surge in COVID-19 cases during the second wave of the pandemic, release of TANCET counselling details has been delayed.

- Release of TANCET 2020 Result: March 20, 2020
- Commencement of TANCET 2020 Counselling Registration: August 28, 2019
- Difference: 161 Days
TANCET 2021
- Release of TANCET 2021 Result: April 1, 2021
- Start of TANCET 2021 Counselling Registration (Expected): August 11, 2021
- Difference (Expected): 132 Days
How to Complete TANCET Counselling Registration?
Candidates have to follow the steps mentioned below to complete TANCET MBA counselling registration
1st Step: Visit the counselling administering website, i.e. tn-mbamca.com or gct.ac.in
2nd Step: Click on the tab for TN MBA/MCA counselling registration followed by entering the basic details including email ID and mobile number (same as used while filling TANCET application form)
3rd Step: Enter the hall ticket number and normalised score as per the TANCET scorecard
4th Step: Hit the submit button after you have filled all the details in the TANCET counselling registration form
5th Step: Take a print out of the counselling registration form for future references.
