TISS Mumbai summer placements 2019: All students placed, highest stipend offered Rs 1,60,000

The TISS Placement 2019 process achieved 100 per cent placement of the batch. All the offers made were paid internship offers.

Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) Mumbai has successfully completed its Summer Placement Process for the HRM & LR batch of 2019-21. The placements were conducted on September 22 and ended on a good note as all the 70 students in the batch received offers of paid internships.

Some of the top companies that visit for the placements every year were Aditya Birla Group, Asian Paints, Citibank, Colgate Palmolive, HUL, ITC, Mahindra and Mahindra, Marico, Nestle, TAS, etc. Accenture, General Mills, Korn Ferry, Mars, Mondelez, Nivea, P&G, Samsung India, and Shell were some of the other major recruiters. Companies are hiring skilled interns aggressively so as to eventually hire them.

TAS was the biggest recruiter at TISS Placements with four offers, followed by ABG, Accenture, HUL, OYO, and Reliance. This year, the maximum number of candidates will be interning in conglomerates, followed by FMCG and consulting companies. Colgate Palmolive offered the highest stipend of Rs 1,60,000 per month.

The total number of firms making offers was 41 out of which 9 were the first-time recruiters. The average monthly stipend was Rs 1,03,785.

Pharma, Oil and Gas sectors

Oil & Gas: HPCL, Shell
