The PI round for final selection of candidates at TISS will start from June 08, 2020. Read on to know the revised interview schedule for MA programmes.
The Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai is set to conduct the Online Personal Interview from tomorrow i.e. June 08. Candidates who have registered for the PI round can check their interview schedule by visiting the official website of TISS and entering their login credentials. The institute will send a link to your email address, which will be activated at the time of the interview. Earlier, TISS cancelled the Pre-interview Test (PIT) and announced a revised schedule for TISSNET Counselling. Adhering to the government guidelines in light of COVID-19 pandemic, the institute has completely revamped its admission process and done away with any requirement of physical participation of candidates for selection rounds.

TISS Selection Process
The institute has restructured the admission process. The modifications have been introduced keeping in mind the challenges for candidates in times of COVID restrictions
Stage 1: Shortlisting of Candidates
Candidates are shortlisted for PI round based on their performance in TISSNET 2020. Following factors will determine TISSNET Cut Off
- Number of candidates appearing in TISSNET 2020
- Number of seats available for a specific programme at a campus
- Number of candidates meeting qualifying cut off
- Category of the candidates
Stage 2: Personal Interview
The institute has announced an online interview schedule, which is set to begin from June 08. During this round, candidates will be assessed based on their communication skills, leadership quality, understanding of the programme and academic records
Stage 3: Final Score Aggregation

Candidates who have applied for management programmes, their Score will be aggregated in the following ratio:
