NEET 2024 Counselling Round 2 Registration Window Reopened; Check Revised Schedule
NEET 2024 counselling Round 2 registration window has been reopened by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) on September 13, 2024. The last date of registration is September 16, 2024. The entire process will conclude on September 27, 2024. Know the details here.
NEET 2024 counselling Round 2 registration window has been reopened by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) on September 13, 2024, on account of addition and withdrawal of seats. βIt is for the information to all candidates that the competent authority has decided to extend the Schedule for Round-2 of UG Counselling 2024 and revise the schedule of further rounds to add new seats in the matrix of Round-2 in pursuance to fresh Letters of permission (LoPs) issued by NMC.β
As many as 225 new seats have been added. On the other hand, 13 seats have been removed or withdrawn. The PwD portal is activated and will be available upto September 16, 2024, 12 noon. Candidates can visit the designated disability centres to obtain disability certificates within stipulated time. The facility of Resignation without forfeiture is provided and will be available upto 11 AM of September 16, 2024.

No, candidates need not report or join the allotted college of NEET counselling Round 1 since there is free exit. However if they want to retain the Round 1 seat and upgrade in Round 2 they have to physically join the college of Round 1 and give up-gradation willingness for Round 2 at the time of admission. In case candidates decide to resign the seat allotted to them in the first round, then they can do so prior to registering in the next round of NEET counselling.
