Mumbai University introduces certification course in Marathi; Apply by July 15

Mumbai University Admissions 2022: On its 50th anniversary, the Marathi Department of the University of Mumbai has launched certification courses on Marathi. According to the official reports, the department has also made several changes in the syllabus for the academic year 2022-2023. This certificate course will introduce the updated nuanced syllabus with an emphasis on language skills. Candidates interested in MU Certificate Course in Marathi must note that the admission process for the certification course in Marathi have already begun. Candidates are required to submit their application form before the last date i.e. July 15, 2022.

In an official circular released by the department of Marathi, it stated, “In the cosmopolitan city like Mumbai, the capital of Maharashtra, Marathi is the major language for communication, expression, business, education and transaction. However, due to inadequate knowledge of the Marathi language, many people face difficulties in communication in day-to-day life... Hence, this certificate course is an excellent opportunity to learn Marathi for Non-Marathi speaking people.”

The application process is accessible both offline and online. Online admissions have begun on the official web portal i.e. Parttimecourses.mu.ac.in. For offline admissions to MU Marathi certification courses, students can take direct admissions by visiting the University of Mumbai's Marathi Department or one of the two additional locations listed below.
