NEET UG Counselling 2021: Round 1 Second Phase Registration, Choice Filling and Locking Ends Today

Who Are Eligible for NEET 2021 Counselling Round 1 (Extended)
MCC has notified the eligibility criteria and other important instructions, which are as follows:

Registration/ Payment Facility/ Choice Filling is made open for all the candidates.

Those who want to edit their choices can log in to their account, give consent for unlocking their choices and fill their choices again or modify them.

Candidates who want to do fresh registration can do so as per schedule and exercise choices for Round-1 of Counselling.
-
Those who want to stick to their originally exercised choices need not do anything and their exercised choices will be valid for seat processing.
How to Register for NEET 2021 Counselling Process
The registration process for the NEET counselling 2021 are as follows:

Candidates have to visit the official website of MCC – mcc.nic.in.

Click on the tab indicating NEET UG Counselling followed by the ‘Registration’ tab.

Enter details such as name, registration number, personal details, academic details and the details mentioned on their NEET result.

Pay the NEET 2021 registration fee through debit/credit card/net banking/UPI modes.
The registration fee is INR 1,000 for General category candidates and INR 500 for the reserved category candidates for the AIQ seats. For the Deemed Universities seats, the registration fee is INR 5,000.
How to Complete Choice Filling and Locking Process
The choice-filling and locking processes have to be completed by following the below steps:

Visit the official website of the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) at www.mcc.nic.in.

Click on the ‘Online Registration’ tab located at the bottom of the page.

Log in with the registration credentials.

Click on the link of Choice Filling.
-
Select the programmes.
-
Go through the list of participating institutes and available seats.

Enter the choice of seats from the participating institutes as per preference on the basis of which seat will be allotted.

Check the entered choices carefully and submit.

Candidates can modify, add or remove as many colleges as they wish to during the choice filling process prior to the choice locking process.

Click on the tab indicating Choice Filling.

Check the entered choices carefully and submit.

Click on the lock button.

If a candidate does not lock the choice submitted by him/her, it will be automatically locked as per schedule.

Take a printout of the locked choices.
The verification of the submitted applications and choices will be done on January 31 and the seat allocation result of Round 1 of NEET UG counselling 2021 will be declared on February 1. Candidates will have to report to the institutes between February
