CAPF (AC) 2021 exam was notified on April 15 and the last date to apply for the CAPF 2021 exam was May 5. Along with the other formalities, UPSC also activated the facility to withdraw the CAPF 2021 application from May 12. The last date to withdraw the CAPF 2021 application was today, that is May 18. The UPSC conduct the Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) exam for the post of Assistant Commandant (AC) post. The rest of the positions in the CAPF are filled through the recruitment exam conducted by SSC.

UPSC had generated the application fee records of the candidates where the fee was not submitted or not confirmed by the concerned bank. The UPSC released a notice on May 15 regarding the fictitious fee payment. The last date to send the proof of the CAPF 2021 application fee is May 21.

CAPF exam is a combination of objective and subjective exam. The candidates are asked to solve the objective type question paper in the stipulated time, followed by a descriptive paper of essay writing. The UPSC declares the result of the CAPF written exam and eligible candidates are called for the Physical and Medical Exam conducted by the designated authority.

The Ministry of Home designates the Physical/Medical exam conducting body every year. Last year, Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) was designated to conduct the exam.
The Physical and Medical Examination is qualifying only and the candidates who pass the exam are called for the UPSC interview.
