CSIR NET & UGC NET application form 2019: Apply before October 9

Online registrations for the National Eligibility Test (NET), for UGC and CSIR, will end next week. Interested candidates must apply for UGC NET 2019 or CSIR NET 2019 before October 9 while the last date to pay the application fee is October 10. This is for the first time that National Testing Agency (NTA) would conduct the NET for CSIR. While UGC NET will be held in 81 subjects between December 2 and December 6, the CSIR NET will be conducted in five subjects on December 15.
Here’s how to apply for UGC-CSIR NET 2019:
- Visit the official website or click the links provided below
- Read the instructions carefully and proceed to fill the form
- Register and enter the required details on the application form
- Upload a recent picture of the candidate
- Deposit fee and submit details
- Save and download the application form and take a printout of the same

NTA would open the application form correction window from October 18 till October 25, 2019. UGC NET and CSIR NET Admit card 2019 will be released on November 9. The UGC NET result and CSIR NET result 2019 will be announced by December 31.
National Eligibility Test (NET) is held twice a year to determine the eligibility of a candidate for junior research fellowship (JRF) and lectureship or assistant professorship. Those who qualify for JRF are eligible for lectureship/ assistant professorship, subject to fulfillment of the eligibility criteria laid down by UGC.
