UGC NET Admit Card 2025: The NTA will release the UGC NET 2025 admit card for the December session at ugcnet.nta.nic.in. Candidates will be able to download the hall ticket by using the candidates' login by using their application number and date of birth. An admit card is a crucial document that needs to be carried to the examination hall by the candidate. Without an admit card, candidates will not be allowed to sit in the exam. 

The UGC NET is conducted twice a year to determine the eligibility of the candidates to become Assistant Professors or get the Junior Research Fellowship award in Indian universities. The UGC NET 2025 exam for December session will be conducted from December 30 to November 7. The UGC NET admit card consists of the important information including the candidate's name, roll number, exam date and time, exam centre address, and instructions.

What to Do In Case of Discrepancy in UGC NET Admit Card?

In case, a candidate is not able to download his/her admit card or there is any discrepancy in the particulars given on the admit card, s/he should call the following helpline numbers of the NTA - 8076535482 and 7703859909. Candidates can call on these numbers on working days from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM. 

In case of any error on the NTA NET admit card, the official website of the exam informs, “In such cases, candidates would appear in the examination with the already downloaded Admit Card. However, NTA will take necessary action to make corrections in the record later.”

No. Candidate must possess a Master's degree with  a minimum of 55% grade score average from a UGC recognised university to apply for the NTA UGC NET exam. Also, if she or he is in the final year of their Master's programme or hold a four year bachelor's degree in specific subjects.

No. The authority has not released the UGC NET certificate for the December session 2025. The exam is scheduled to be conducted from December 31 to January 7, 2026.

The UGC NET answer key challenge fee per question is INR 200. It is non refundable whether the challenge is accepted or rejected. It can be paid online via debit card, credit card, net banking or UPI. Challenges made by the candidates will be verified by the panel of subject experts.
