Karnataka School Education Department has released KARTET notification 2025. The application form will be available from October 23 to November 9, 2025. The exam will be held on December 7, 2025.  KARTET exam is conducted to determine the eligibility of candidates for primary school teachers and upper primary school teachers in different government schools of Karnataka.

KARTET exam comprises two papers- Paper 1 and Paper 2 and is conducted in two shifts. The KARTET Paper 1 is for those who want to apply for primary level teachers (Classes 1 to 5) and Paper 2 is for those who want to apply for upper primary teachers (Classes 6 to 8). The qualifying marks are 60 per cent for General and 55 per cent for reserved categories. KARTET certificate is valid of lifetime. Qualified candidates can apply for teachers recruitment in Karnataka.
