The LIC AAO 2020 exam was scheduled to be conducted on April 4 but Life Insurance Corporation(LIC) of India postponed the LIC AAO prelims exam due to the coronavirus pandemic and the consequent lockdown in the country. The LIC AAO prelims exam 2020 is conducted nationwide and hence cannot be conducted until the situation becomes normal. The LIC AAO exam 2020 is a specialist exam and the majority of the posts notified in the LIC AAO notification was for the specialist positions.

The Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) issued a notice to postpone the LIC AAO prelims exam 2020 and stated that the new dates will be notified later. The government has removed various restrictions in the lockdown 4.0 and it is expected that the LIC will announce the LIC AAO new exam dates .

The LIC AAO exam syllabus has lots of common topics which are also present in various other competitive exams. The candidates need to practice as much as possible to score better marks and get selected in the result. The LIC AAO is not a target-oriented job and also it offered very good remuneration.

The LIC AAO exam 2020 is a three-stage exam process. The LIC AAO prelims exam is an objective type question paper conducted online. The LIC AAO prelims exam comprise only one paper and the time allotted for the paper is one hour.

The LIC has pre-defined the minimum qualifying marks for each category of candidates. This differs from the cut-off which will be worked out after the exam will be over. The number of candidates who will pass the LIC AAO prelims exam will be 20 times the number of vacancies notified in the LIC AAO notification 2020.

The LIC AAO exam was notified on February 25 and the last date to apply for the LIC AAO exam was March 15.
