LIC AAO Notification 2025: The Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) released the notification for the LIC AAO 2025 on August 16, 2025, to fill vacancies for the posts of Generalists and Specialists. The notification PDF is an important document that informs candidates about LIC AAO exam, number of vacancies, the  LIC AAO exam date, the selection process, the result criteria and others. The LIC AAO recruitment 2025 seeks to fill a total of 760 vacancies (350 vacancies of Generalist and 410 vacancies for Specialist).

Q:   What is the salary of the LIC AAO?
A: 

The basic pay for the LIC AAO post is INR 53600 per month. The LIC AAO pay scale is INR 53600- 2645 (14) –90630– 2865 (4) –102090 and other admissible allowances. The total LIC AAO salary inclusive of House Rent Allowance (HRA), City Compensatory Allowance (CCA), etc. wherever admissible will be approximately INR 92870 per month in ‘A’ Class city. Apart from salary and allowances, other benefits enjoyed by LIC AAO are:

Educational Qualification for LIC AAO 2025

AAO (Chartered Accountant)

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized Indian University/Institution and Candidates should have passed Final Examination of Institute of Chartered Accountant and completion of Articles as presented by Institute of Chartered Accountant.
  • The candidate should be Associate member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
  • Candidates should provide their membership number and the same will be verified with Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

For AAO (Actuarial)

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized Indian University/Institution and Candidates should have compulsorily passed 6 or more papers of the examination conducted by the Institute of Actuaries of India / Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, UK as on the date of eligibility i.e. 1st February, 2020.
  • Candidates should provide their membership number and the same will be verified with Institute of Actuaries of India / Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, UK.

For AAO (Legal)

Bachelor’s degree in Law or LLM from a recognized Indian University/Institution. Three years of Bar experience is essential

For AAO (Rajbhasha)

 

1. Post Graduate Master’s Degree in Hindi/Hindi

translation with English as one of the subjects at Bachelor’s Degree level

OR

2. Post Graduate Master’s Degree in English with Hindi as one of the subjects at Bachelor’s degree level

OR

3. Post Graduate Master’s Degree in Sanskrit with English and Hindi as subjects at Bachelor’s degree level.

For AAO (IT)

Age Limit for LIC AAO 2025

Age is another criterion for filling up the application form. The LIC AAO notification prescribed the age limit for all the positions in a very elaborate manner. LIC AAO Guarantee Bond

After the final selection as AAO, candidates are posted as Probationers. They need to give an undertaking or a Guarantee bond of INR 5 lakh to ensure that they will serve the LIC for a minimum of four years from the date of joining, including the probation period. Candidates who fail to serve four years will be liable to pay a fine of INR 5 lakh as liquidated damages. Candidates will be required to submit a Deed of Indemnity at their cost, duly stamped and notarised.
