NDA (1) 2021 notification released for 400 vacancies; apply online before Jan 19

UPSC has released NDA 1 2021 notification on December 30, 2020. A total of 400 vacancies have been announced for the exam. Candidates can apply online till January 19. 

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released NDA 1 2021 notification on December 30, 2020. A total of 400 vacancies have been announced for exam. Along with the notification, NDA application form 2021 has also been released. Candidates can apply and pay the fees online till January 19. The last date to pay the fees offline is January 18. The written exam of NDA 1 2021 will be conducted on April 18, 2021 across 41 cities.

NDA Eligibility Criteria 2021

Candidates need to fulfill the following eligibility criteria in terms of age and educational qualification.

• Candidates must have born not earlier than July 2, 2002, and not later than July 1, 2005
• For admission to Army Wing of National Defence Academy, candidates must have passed Class 12/HSC
• For admission to Air Force, Navy and Naval Academy of National Defence Academy, candidates must have passed Class 12/HSC with Physics and Mathematics

NDA Selection Process

NDA selection process comprises two stages: written exam and SSB interview. Candidates qualifying the written exam are called for the SSB Interview. Candidates clearing all the stages of NDA 1 exam will be offered admission to Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the NDA for the 147th Course and for the 109th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) commencing from January 2, 2022.
