NDA Vacancies 2025: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) released NDA 2 vacancies 2025 on May 28, 2025. A total of 406 vacancies are announced for the exam. Out of the total vacancies, 208 are for Army, 42 for Navy, 120 for Air Force and 36 for Indian Naval Academy. The total NDA 2 women vacancies is 25 (10 vacancies for Army, 5 for Navy, 6 for Air Force and 4 for Indian Naval Academy). In 2024, a total of 404 vacancies were announced for NDA II exam.
UPSC NDA & NA vacancy is released separately for the Army, Navy, and Air Force wings of the National Defence Academy and Indian Naval Academy course. The examination authority also released separate NDA vacancies for female candidates. A total of 406 vacancies were announced for the NDA 1 2025 exam.
NDA exam is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) for admission to Army, Navy, and Air Force wings of NDA and Indian Naval Academy Courses. The selection process of NDA comprises the written exam and SSB Interview.

A total of 120 vacancies are announced for Air Force wing of NDA. Out of the total vacancies, 92 are Flying Branch (two for female candidates), 18 for Ground Duties (Tech) (two for female candidates) and 10 for Ground Duties (Non-Tech) (two for female candidates).. .
The selection process of NDA includes the written exam and SSB Interview. The written exam is held for 900 marks and the SSB interview is conducted for 900 marks. The final selection of candidates is done based on the written exam and SSB interview. Candidates are required to secure separate qualifying marks in the written exam and interview. The final merit list is prepared out of 1800 marks.
