The SSC GD 2021 notification will be released in the first week of May. The Staff Selection Commission released a notice regarding the new SSC GD notification 2021 dates. The SSC GD 2021 notification was scheduled to release on March 25, but it was not released on the scheduled date. SSC also tweeted that the SSC GD notification will be released soon on April 6. But in the new notice, SSC did not mention any reason for the delay.

The SSC GD 2021 is the most awaited exam for the candidates because of the large number of vacancies are expected in the notification. In the previous year's notification, the SSC notified 60, 000 vacancies. The SSC General Duty(GD) Constable exam is conducted to recruit the constable for the Central Armed Police Forces, such as

Forces for Recruitment of Constables (General Duty)
Border Security Force (BSF) Central Industrial Security Force (CISF)
Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP)
Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) National Investigation Agency (NIA)
Secretariat Security Force (SSF) -

And in addition to above the post of rifleman in Assam Rifles. The SSC GD exam is very popular among the candidates because the common eligibility criteria for the exam is Matriculation. The SSC GD exam process will be notified in the official notification. Based on the previous year notification we know that the SSC GD exam is conducted in multiple stages and the candidate needs to qualify in each stage to get selected in the final result.

The SSC GD exam 2021 is scheduled to be conducted as a Computer-Based Exam(CBE) online from August 2 to 25.
