SSC Stenographer Grade C & D 2019-20 exam postponed; Admit Card delayed

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has postponed SSC Stenographer Grade C & D 2019-20 scheduled to be conducted from May 5 to 7, 2020 amid the fear of coronavirus pandemic. SSC will take decision on the new exam dates after May 3 following the completion of lockdown 2.0. An official notice issued regarding this reads, “A decision on fresh dates for SSC Stenographer Grade C & D will be taken after May 2020.”

As the exam has been postponed, therefore, SSC Stenographer admit card will not be released. The admit card will be issued to candidates two weeks before the exam. Registered candidates can download the admit card from the regional websites of the commission by logging with the required credentials. The admit card contains information related to candidate’s personal details as well as of exam. The hard copy of the admit card is not sent to candidates by post.

The Computer Based Test of SSC Stenographer comprises three sections: General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness and English Language and Comprehension. The test paper will have total 200 objective type questions. Total marks of the test are 200. Candidates qualifying the computer based exam will appear for the skill test.

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) had also postponed the CHSL Tier 1 2020 and JE Paper 1 2020 exams due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
