The Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) has cancelled the Assistant Engineers (AE) exam that was held on March 5, 2023 after allegations of the question paper leak were made. The move was also taken considering different student organisations continuing their protest for the second day. "The decision was taken after examining the FIR registered with regard to the leakage of question paper," the Commission said.

While responding to the allegations that the question paper leak involves a BJP activist, Rama Rao said that the BJP seems to have hatched a conspiracy to destroy the lives of innocent youth.
"Even by the very low standards of BJP, this is vulgarity at its worst. Just to malign Telangana Govt, BJP seems to have hatched a conspiracy to destroy the lives of innocent youth. I request the @TelanganaDGP Garu to enquire this matter thoroughly and bring perpetrators to justice," Rama Rao tweeted.
Earlier, members of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), the Chhatra Yuva Sangharsh Samiti (CYSS) of Aam Aadmi Party Telangana unit and SFI assembled in front of the TSPSC office here holding placards and raised slogans demanding the resignation of the TSPSC chairman B Janardhan Reddy.
