UPPSC Main exam 2019 centre change option activated. See here the details.

Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has activated the facility to change the UPPSC PCS 2019 main exam centre. The UPPSC had issued a notice regarding the same on July 27, 2020. The commission has activated the UPPSC Exam centre change window for the candidates for the main exam. Besides, the two existing UPPSC exam centre - Lucknow and Prayagraj, the commission also added Ghaziabad as the UPPSC main new exam centre this time. The last date to change the UPPCS main 2019 exam centre is August 4, 2020.

How to change the UPPSC 2019 main exam centre?

  • Go to the official website of UPPSC - uppsc.up.nic.in
  • Click on the "CHANGE THE DISTRICT CENTRE FOR PCS(M) EXAM-2019" tab under exam dashboard
  • A new window will appear asking to opt the change the UPPSC main 2019 exam centre 
  • Log in with the Registration Number and Date of Birth
  • Follow the instructions and change the UPPSC main 2019 exam centre.

The candidates can opt to change their exam centres and also opt for the new exam centre. The UPPSC issued new exam dates of UPPSC main exam on June 16. UPPSC will conduct the PCS main exam from August 25, 2020. Since because of lockdown and other restrictions, the means of transport and accommodations and hotels are not available easily, the commission has added Ghaziabad as a new exam centre so that the candidates can appear to the nearest exam centre from their residence.

The UPPSC main exam is a descriptive essay type exam having eight question papers. All the papers are compulsory and the candidate needs to score as high as he can to get selected in the UPPSC result. The UPPSC will release the UPPCS admit card on August 15, 2020 if UPPSC conducts the exam on the said dates. The UPPSC PCS main exam pattern is as follows.

The UPPSC Prelims exam 2019 was conducted on December 15. The UPPSC declared the PCS prelims result on February 18, 2020. The commission notified to conduct the UPPSC main exam 2019 from June 21 but because of the coronavirus pandemic, it is postponed twice before.
