The UPPSC PSC main exam 2019 will be conducted from September 22 to 26 at three examination centres in the state. The three exam centres will be Prayagraj, Lucknow, and Ghaziabad. UPPSC has made Ghaziabad as the UPPSC PCS main exam centre for the first time. The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has released the UPPSC PCS main exam schedule on August 26. The UPPSC will issue the PCS main admit card ten days before the exam i.e it will be released on September 12, 2020.
The UPPSC PCS main exam 2019 will be conducted in two sessions. The morning session will start from 9.30 AM and the afternoon session will begin from 2.00 PM. The UPPSC UPPCS main exam 2019 schedule is as follows:

The UPPSC is ready to conduct the UPPSC main exam amid the weekend lockdown enforced across the state. The candidates need to travel to the examination centre one day before and stay there because all the papers are scheduled on the consecutive dates except the optional subject papers.

The UPPSC PCS main exam is said to be the main stage of the UPPSC exam because the marks secured in the main exam are considered for the final merit. The total marks distribution of each paper is given below.

The UPPSC PCS prelims exam 2019 was conducted on December 15 across the state. The UPPSC prelims result 2019 was declared on February 18, 2020. Earlier, the UPPSC PCS main exam was postponed twice because of coronavirus pandemic. The UPPSC PCS main exam was scheduled to be conducted in June but was postponed to August 25. Later it was postponed again due to the extended lockdown in the state.
