The National Testing Agency (NTA) will begin the Common University Entrance Test for Undergraduates (CUET-UG) on Day 3, i.e. May 14 (Shift 1) exam from 9 AM onwards. Students who are appearing for the CUET exam 2025 on May 15, 2025, are required to adhere to the exam day guidelines as issued by NTA. In order to provide test takers all the necessary information about the exam, provided below are the CUET 2025 exam day guidelines, dress code and what to carry and avoid at the examination centre.
NTA is conducting CUET 2025 from May 13 to June 3, 2025, in 300 cities across India. The examination is being held in two shifts. Students have to ensure that they reach the CUET 2025 exam centre before the reporting time, as no student will be allowed to enter the examination premises once the entry time concludes.
CUET 2025 Reporting Time
Students have to be mindful that the CUET UG reporting time 2025 is ahead of the examination commencement time. For reference, the CUET UG shift 1 reporting time is 7 AM while the shift 2 reporting time is 1 PM.

CUET UG 2025 Exam Guidelines
Students have to follow the below-mentioned guidelines before the during the examination period that includes what to carry at CUET exam centre:
- Arrive 2 hours ahead of the exam time, and no late entry will be accepted under any circumstances.
- Students have to proceed through the security checking process upon entry.
- Be mindful of the documents to carry to the CUET exam centre
- Electronic devices, bags, accessories, wallets, notes, and eatables are prohibited inside the examination premises.
- Before exiting the exam hall, submit the rough sheet provided.
CUET Dress Code 2025
The following dress code for CUET 2025 shall be followed by each student:
- Wear simple clothes suitable for the weather.
- Wear slippers or sandals and avoid wearing high heels
- Avoid wearing shoes or other closed-toed footwear.
- Do not wear any metal items, including ornaments or heavy jewellery.
