Delhi University has received the highest number of undergraduate (UG) applications this year for the 2025-26 academic cycle. Based on the preferences submitted by candidates through the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal, the university has released the Simulated Ranks on applicants’ dashboards. Students can now reorder, add, or delete their programme and college preferences until July 16, 2025.

According to the university’s announcement on social media platform X, "Admissions to undergraduate programmes of University of Delhi for the Academic Year 2025-26 will be through CSAS-2025. The portal is now live."

In particular, a minimum CUET score of 480 out of a possible 800 is required to get admitted. Although the university takes into account a number of variables throughout the selection process, including extracurricular activities, academic background, and personal statement, reaching this minimal score criterion does not guarantee admission. While the minimum CUET score for each college, subject, and student category may differ, it is generally recommended to strive for a score in the 650–700 range for many DU courses.
