NTA releases advisory for CUET UG 2026

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released advisory for all students planning to appear for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) 2026. According to the official notice, aspirants must update their Aadhaar Card, UDID Card, and Category Certificates before filling the CUET 2026 online form. CUET UG 2026 registrations is expected to begin in first week of March 2026 on the official CUET website- cuet.nta.nic.in

Why Document Update is Important in CUET UG 2026?

NTA has introduced this advisory to avoid discrepancies, rejections, or grievances during later stages of the admission process. Many students face issues due to mismatched details or outdated documents, which often leads to delays or cancellation of candidature.

CUET UG 2026 Registration: Required Documents

Given below is the list of documents required for CUET UG 2026 registration as announced by the NTA.

1. Aadhaar Card

Candidates must make sure their Aadhaar details must mention:
1. Correct name
2. Correct date of birth as per Class 10 certificate
3. Latest photograph
4. Updated address
5. Correct father’s name

2. UDID Card (for PwD candidates)

The Unique Disability ID (UDID) Card or disability certificate must be:

  • Valid
  • Updated
  • Renewed if required

3. Category Certificate

Candidates belonging to EWS / SC / ST / OBC-NCL must upload:

  • A valid and updated category certificate
  • Issued as per the latest government guidelines

Yes, CUET UG exam 2026 date has been announced. National Testing Agency has scheduled CUET 2026 exam from May 11 to May 31, 2026. Candidates willing to appear for the exam must make sure to register for the exam online. As per the updated CUET 2026 exam date, the registrations will close on January 30, 2026.

Q:   How can I check my CUET exam centre?

Candidates can check the CUET 2026 allotted exam centre upon release of CUET intimation slip and CUET admit card. Only candidates who will fill the CUET application form along with the successful application fee payment will be able to download the intimation slip for CUET exam. The name of exam centre will be mentioned on the intimation alip in advance to help candidates make preparations accordingly. The CUET 2026 admit card is expected to release three to four days prior to the day of examination in online mode. Candidates will be able to check the following details on the release of CUET 2026 admit card:

  1. Name of the candidate
  2. Registration number
  3. Category
  4. Location
  5. Date of exam
  6. Time of exam
  7. Exam centre name & address
  8. Photograph
  9. Signature
  10. Instructions related to the exam 

Candidates must note that the CUET exam centre once allotted, no request for change in exam centre will be entertained under any circumstances. Candidates are advised to carefully enter the exam centre preference while filling the CUET 2026 application form.
