UGC asks universities, HEIs to use CUET UG score for admissions

According to the University Grants Commission, the initiative will save the students from appearing in multiple entrance examinations conducted on different dates, sometimes coinciding with each other.

The University Grants Commission (UGC) has invited all the universities and Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) to use CUET scores for undergraduate programmes admission.  

The commission recently issued a notice urging the HEIs, state universities, deemed universities, private universities to conduct UG admissions through CUET scores. According to UGC, the initiative will save the students from appearing in multiple entrance examinations conducted on different dates, sometimes coinciding with each other. It will also help students to provide equal opportunity from different boards to appear for the CUET UG examination and get admission in any of the undergraduate course across India. 

CUET UG 2023 registrations open, apply by March 12 

CUET UG 2023 examination registration process have already commenced. Interested candidates can apply online through the official site of cuet.samarth.ac.in. The deadline to apply for CUET UG 2023 till March 12, 2023. The examination will be held from May 21, 2023, onwards. 

The CUET exam 2023 will be held in 13 languages - Hindi, Marathi, Urdu, Malayalam, Assamese, Gujarati, Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, Bengali, Punjabi, Odia, and English. It will be conducted in three shifts on each day.
