Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released SSC JHT notification 2022 on July 20. SSC JHT apply online link is available from July 20 to August 4. The last date to pay the application fee online is August 5, 2022. Candidates can generate the bank challan to pay the application fee offline is August 4. The last date to pay the application fee offline is August 4. Candidates will be able to make correction in the application form from August 6. SSC JHT exam will be conducted in October.

SSC JHT Application Form 2022

SSC JHT application form comprises two parts-1 and 2. Part 1 comprises registration while Part 2 comprises filling the detailed application form. The application form fee can be paid both online. The application fee is INR 100, while SC/Women/ST/ESM candidates are exempted from fee payment.

SSC JHT Syllabus

The paper-wise syllabus of SSC JHT is given below:

Paper-I (Computer Based Examination): The questions will be designed to test the candidates’ understanding of the languages and literature, correct use of words, phrases and idioms and ability to write the languages correctly, precisely and effectively. The questions will be of degree level.

Paper-II (Translation and Essay): This paper will contain two passages for translation- one passage for translation from Hindi to English and one passage for translation from English to Hindi, and an Essay each in Hindi and English, to test the candidates’ translation skills and their ability to write as well as comprehend the two languages correctly, precisely and effectively. The level of the paper will be consistent with the educational qualifications prescribed.
