TG PECET-2025 candidates who missed Phase I can now register for the second and final phase of web counselling for BPEd and DPEd programs. Online registration is open August 26 to August 29, with choice filling, edits, and seat allotment following immediately. No call letters will be sent individually.

The Telangana State Physical Education Common Entrance Test (TG PECET) 2025 authority has issued the notification for the second and final phase of web-based counselling for admission into Bachelor of Physical Education (BPEd) and Diploma in Physical Education (DPEd) programs.

Qualified candidates who missed Phase I are now eligible to register online between August 26 and 29, 2025, by logging into the official TG PECET portal, uploading the necessary documents, and paying the applicable fees (Processing Fee: ₹800, Counselling Fee: ₹500). Following registration, the counselling timeline proceeds as follows:

Candidates should note:

  • New web options must be submitted, even if a seat was allocated in Phase I.

  • There is no separate issuance of call letters.

  • Participation does not guarantee a seat; allotment is subject to availability and merit.

  • Post-allotment, candidates must submit two sets of attested certificates to their allotted colleges—one for the college and one for the Convener's office.

  • Refund policies for tuition fee cancellation differ: full refund after Phase I, 50% refund after final phase before cutoff, and no refund after cutoff.

About TG PECET: Conducted on behalf of the Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE), TG PECET is the physical efficiency and skill test for admission into BPEd and DPEd courses across the state. Palamuru University, Nalgonda, administers the counselling.

The TG PECET counselling process begins after the results and merit list are declared. It is conducted in multiple rounds to accommodate candidates with different ranks. Q:   What is TG PECET counselling, and why is it conducted?
A:

The TG PECET counselling is a process through which qualified candidates are allotted seats in B.P.Ed  and D.P.Ed programs across participating colleges in Telangana. It ensures a fair and systematic allocation of seats based on the candidate's rank, preferences, and availability. Counselling involves several stages, including registration, choice filling, seat allotment, and document verification.

Q:   What to do in TS PECET Counselling Process For Exercising Web-Options?
A:
  • After successful online certificate verification, the verified list of Registered & eligible candidates will be displayed on the notified date in the website.
  • In case of any discrepancies in the candidates verified data kindly report the same to the helpline centre or mail through email service available in the website. Any claim after the allotment of seats will not be entertained.
  • Candidates can exercise web options by clicking WEB OPTIONS link which will be available on the notified dates.
  • Web options can be accessed only through Desktops or laptops. Do not use mobile phones or Tabs for exercising web options.
  • If the candidate is exercising options from Internet Centre, make sure that proper LOGOUT is done after saving the options for safety of candidate's information.
  • Candidates have to enter his/her login credentials (created at the time of registration for online certificate verification) to access the web options.
  • Candidates are advised to see that the college/course of your choice is as per your priority carefully selecting the first choice, second choice and so on. Once he/she is satisfied with the priority list the options can be freezed.
  • Options cannot be edited after freezing. However, edit of options will be made available on the notified date.
  • Candidate has to exercise as many options as possible to avoid disappointment of not getting a seat.
  • Candidates are advised to take the printout of the final freezed options.
