Q:   I am 32 years old. Can I still pursue BSc Nursing?

Yes,  you can. According to the Indian Nursing Council, the minimum age of an applicant must be 17 years,  whereas the maximum limit is 35 years. You will need verified documents like 12th marksheet, Aadhar Card, etc. 

Q:   What is the difference between ANM and GNM?
A: 

The full form of ANM is Auxiliary Nurse Midwife. It is a 2 year certificate programme that generally focuses on healthcare in rural areas. 

The full form of GNM is General Nursing and Midwifery. It is a 3 year Diploma course that teaches healthcare and midwifery in a larger context.

The fee at AIIMS, Bathinda is INR 7,326 for the whole MBBS program of 66 months, while Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital charges INR 2.66 Lakhs for 66 months of the MBBS course. 

Both the universities are approved by NMC. AIIMS, Bathinda offers 100 seats for MBBS, while Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital offers 120 seats for MBBS. 

Placements are also good in both colleges, however, AIIMS, Bathinda is much cheaper than Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital.
