States like Karnataka have officially decided to close all Auxiliary Nursing Midwife Training Centers (ANMTC) and suspend ANM nursing courses starting academic year 2026-27. On the other hand, States like West Bengal, Bihar and UP are officially continuing ANM nursing courses.
