Physiotherapy offers great opportunities abroad. You can work in the UK, Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the UAE, as they recruit physiotherapists actively. But you may have to pass licensing exams for the specific country and get your degree recognised by that country's regulatory authority.

Yes. Government hospitals, AIIMS, armed forces hospitals, railways, ESI hospitals, and various state health departments regularly recruit physiotherapists. You can also work in government schools for special-needs children and national sports academies.

No. Biology is a mandatory subject for physiotherapy admission. You must have Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in Class 12 to be eligible for BPT or B.Sc. Physiotherapy.

Currently, NEET is not required for most physiotherapy admissions. Most colleges admit students based on Class 12 marks. However, from 2026 onwards, NEET is expected to become mandatory as per the NCAHP notification. Students applying from 2026 onwards should keep NEET preparation as a priority.
