In the wake of coronavirus, SBI has postponed the mains exam of Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales). Besides, the declaration of prelims result has also been postponed.

State Bank of India (SBI) has postponed SBI Clerk 2020 mains exam following the outbreak of COVID-19. Besides, the result of preliminary exam that was scheduled to be announced anytime soon has also been delayed. The mains exam of SBI Clerk was scheduled to be conducted on April 19 across various cities in the country.

The official notice issued regarding this reads, β€œIn view of the prevailing situation on account of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, the online mains exam has been postponed. The fresh date for declaration of preliminary exam result and conduct of mains exam will be announced later on the official website.”

How to check SBI Clerk 2020 result?

SBI Clerk prelims exam was conducted on February 22 & 29, March 1 & 8. The following steps will guide candidates to check the result of SBI PO.

  • Visit the career page of SBI
  • Go to the current opening section from join SBI tab
  • Go the tab β€˜Recruitment of Junior Associates Customer Support & Sales’
  • From the drop-down, select the result link
  • SBI Clerk result will open in PDF form
  • Check your result
  • Download and take its printout

Details of mains exam

The mains exam is conducted for candidates qualifying the prelims exam. Candidates 10 times the number of vacancies are selected for the mains exam. SBI Clerk mains exam pattern is divided into four sections, General/ Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude. The test paper will have total 190 questions. Maximum marks allotted to the test are 200. The duration of the test is 2 Hours 40 minutes. Candidates qualifying the mains exam are required to appear for Local Language test.
