IBPS has postponed IBPS RRB Officers Scale I and office Assistant mains exam. The new exam dates will be announced soon.

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has postponed IBPS RRB Officers Scale I and office Assistant mains exam.  The mains exam for the post of Officers Scale I was scheduled to be conducted on October 18 and Office Assistant was scheduled to take place on October 31, 2020. However, the exams have been deferred. The single-level examination conducted for the post of Officers Scale II and III will be conducted as per schedule.

The notice issued by the Institute reads, β€œFurther to our notice dated August 10, 2020, kindly note that online main examinations for the post of Officer Scale-I scheduled on October 18, 2020 and Office Assistants scheduled on October 31, 2020 have been deferred.”

β€œThe online single exam for the post of Officers Scale II and III will be held as per the announced date i.e., October 18, 2020,” the notice further reads.

IBPS RRB 2020 result for the prelims exam is expected to be announced soon. Candidates can access their result from the official website by logging with registration number or roll number and date of birth or password.

The prelims exam of IBPS RRB Officers Scale I was conducted on September 12 and 13, while the exam for Office Assistant post was conducted on 19, 20 and 26. This is not the first time IBPS has postponed the examination for IBPS RRB. Earlier in the first week of September, the prelims exam was postponed that was scheduled on September 12 and 13. A day later the institute had withdrawn the exam postponement notice and said that the exam would be conducted as per schedule.
