DRDO postpones MTS 2019-20 Tier-I exam till further notice

The Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO) has postponed DRDO CEPTAM 2019-20 Tier-I exam till further notice. The examination authority has postponed the exam following the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic. The new exam dates will be informed to candidates in due course of time.

The official notice by DRDO regarding this reads, “All candidates who have applied against DRDO Entry Test 2019-20/MTS advertisement, may please note that Tier-I (CBT) examination could not be conducted as per plan due to outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic. However, this will be planned and tentative dates will be intimated in due course of time, subject to the prevailing conditions and Government guidelines issued from time to time regarding handling the pandemic.”

“The candidates are advised to check the official website  at regular intervals for any information & further updates,” the notice further reads.

DRDO CEPTAM MTS 2019-20 admit card has also been delayed as the exam has been postponed. The selection process of DRDO CEPTAM MTS recruitment comprises two tiers: I and II. Tier-I is for screening only while Tier-II is for final selection. Both tiers will be conducted in Computer Based Mode. The tests will comprise objective-type multiple choice questions. The language of question paper will be in English and Hindi. There is no negative marking for wrong answers. 

The Tier-I comprises questions from General Intelligence & Reasoning Ability, General Awareness and Quantitative Aptitude & Numerical Ability. The Tier-II consists of questions from General Science, General Math and General English. DRDO has announced MTS recruitment to fill up a total of 1817 vacancies.
