NDA (I) 2021 Exam: Delhi candidates will not require curfew e-passes

The Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) has issued an order stating that candidates who are appearing in different exams scheduled to take place this weekend in Delhi will not require curfew e-passes to travel to the exam centre. This means that candidates who are appearing in NDA exam on April 18, will not require curfew e-passes.

DDMA in the order has stated that candidates will be allowed for movement during the curfew to appear in the examination if they produce a valid admit card. The examination staff deployed for exam duties will be allowed to travel if they show a valid identity card. Also check NDA exam centre

In view of the increasing number of COVID-19 cases, the Chief Minister of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday had announced a curfew this weekend. The curfew will be effective from 10 pm on April 16 to 5 am on April 19.

Several students took to twitter demanding postponement of NDA exam. Twitter is flooded with the #postponenda2021exam. However, as of now, there is no official update from UPSC regarding the postponement of NDA exam. This means NDA exam will be conducted on April 18. 

NDA exam will be conducted in two shifts-10.00 am to 12:30 pm and 2.00 pm to 4:30 pm. The exam paper of NDA written exam is divided into two parts, GAT and Mathematics. There will be a total 150 objective-type questions in GAT while the Mathematics part will carry a total of 120 questions. Each section of the exam will be held for 2 ½ hours. The GAT section will be for 600 marks while the Mathematics section will carry 300 marks. The GAT section is further divided into two parts.
